Our History
Jessamine County Networkers was founded in the mid-2000s by Ronea Fowler and still-current member, Tim Vaughan. Earliest meetings consisted of about five members were held at the Orchard Clubhouse in Nicholasville. Several members who were accepted as members in those early days have consistently remained in our group due to the recognized value of belonging to a referral-based networking group. As a group, we have grown substantially since our first meetings. We have developed a consistent meeting structure, gained members, and passed over a million dollars in referrals. |
Our Purpose
We are in organization of business professionals, formed for the purpose of passing qualified referrals. We do this through learning about each other’s businesses and establishing trusted relationships within our group.
JCN is a one-person-per-profession group, eliminating the possibility of competition among group members and enhancing the probability that each member will become the go-to expert in their respective field.
We encourage members to connect into Power Teams, or subgroups that are able to send each other an exceptionally high volume of referrals due to their complimentary services and products.
Our 20+ members have over $250,000 in sales from referrals passed in 2019 alone.
We welcome visitors to attend our regular meetings to get a feel for who we are and what we do.
